Video Production FAQ

This FAQ answers common questions about our video production services, including pricing, filming, editing, and delivery. The goal is to provide clear expectations and help you understand how video projects are scoped and completed.

WONGA Studios provides business-focused video production services, including:

  • On-location video shoots
  • Promotional and brand videos
  • Interview and talking-head video
  • Editing and post-production

All video work is designed for marketing, communication, and practical real-world use.

Video production pricing is based on:

  • Type of video being produced
  • Length and complexity of the shoot
  • Number of locations or setups
  • Editing and post-production requirements

Most services are presented as “starting at” prices, with final costs quoted after scope is defined.

On-location shoots typically include:

  • Professional camera operation
  • Basic lighting and audio setup
  • Multiple takes as needed within the scheduled time

Extended shoot time, additional locations, or specialized equipment may require additional fees.

Yes. Promotional and brand videos are designed to support marketing goals and clearly communicate your message. These videos are commonly used on websites, social media, and digital campaigns.

Final scope, length, and deliverables are agreed upon before production begins.

Interview and talking-head video focuses on clear, professional on-camera communication. These videos typically feature:

  • A single speaker or interview subject
  • Clean framing, lighting, and audio
  • Editing focused on clarity and pacing

They are often used for testimonials, leadership messages, or educational content.

Editing and post-production may be included in a project or billed separately, depending on scope.

Editing services are typically billed hourly, based on the complexity of the work. Advanced editing, motion graphics, or special effects may require higher rates.

Editing and post-production is billed at an hourly rate based on complexity:

  • Standard editing: typically billed at a base hourly rate of $85 per hour
  • Advanced editing or motion work: billed at a higher rate of $150 per hour

Exact rates are discussed and approved before work begins.

No. Scriptwriting, detailed storyboards, and creative direction beyond the agreed project scope are not included by default.

If scriptwriting, storyboards, or revisions to a client-provided script are required, they are available as additional services and must be scoped and approved separately.

Music and voiceover are not included by default.

Royalty-free music or voiceover talent can be added if requested and approved in advance. Licensed or custom audio may incur additional costs.

Final deliverables are typically provided in standard video formats such as MP4 or MOV. Files are optimized based on where the video will be used (web, social media, in-house displays, etc.).

Source files are not included unless specifically agreed upon.

Project timelines depend on:

  • Project scope and complexity
  • Client responsiveness during review
  • Editing and revision requirements

Most small business video projects are completed within a few weeks once filming and assets are complete.

To begin a video project, we typically need:

  • Project goals and intended use
  • Location details (if applicable)
  • Any required messaging or talking points
  • Approval access and feedback contacts

Clear communication helps keep projects on schedule.

All video and motion graphics projects are delivered in standard HD resolution (1080p or lower) by default. Higher resolutions, including 4K, or non-standard resolutions, are available at an additional cost and must be requested before production begins.

Requests for higher-resolution delivery made after production has started may incur additional fees or reprocessing time.

Once project scope has been defined and a formal price has been quoted, the on-location shoot date must be booked with a 50% deposit to reserve the time. Cancellations made within 72 hours of booking will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made after that 72-hour window forfeit the deposit, as the date has been reserved and production time has been committed.

Video production is a strong fit if you want to:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Showcase your business, people, or location
  • Support marketing and digital content

If you’re unsure which type of video fits your needs, WONGA Studios can help guide you.

Service pricing includes local travel within 50 miles round-trip of WONGA Studios. Projects requiring travel beyond this distance may incur additional travel-related fees, which can include mileage, airfare, lodging, and per-diem expenses depending on the location and duration of the project.

Any required travel costs are discussed, itemized, and approved in advance before work is scheduled. No travel expenses are incurred without prior client approval.
